James P. Walker pledged Omega Psi Phi Fraternity in 1976 Tau Zeta Chapter of Rutgers University Livingston College. He is a life member of both the International Headquarters and of the 2nd District. With a bachelor’s degree in Political Science, he owns and operates Rahway’s Finest Unisex Salon for more than 30 years, and supported the Mr. Rogers Program, which offered discount haircuts for young men. Due to his mentoring young men became licensed barbers and opened their own barbershops. A Customer Service Supervisor for more than 10 years, Brother Walker worked for the United States Postal Service for more than 30 years and has received numerous appreciation awards.
